Cramer teams w/Alcatel, SAP, Oracle, Amdocs
There is a lot happening in the Cramer camp at its Cramer6 OSS Suite launch:
- Cramer and Alcatel are working on standard operational processes and service models and will jointly invest in a joint Next Generation Network solution center to develop an out-of-the box fulfillment solution targeted at wireline Tier 1 service providers. The pre-packaged joint solution will feature the Cramer6 OSS Suite including ServiceCatalog and ActivationEngine and Alcatel's equipment and integration capabilities and automate the end-to-end fulfillment of triple-play services. The center will be located at Alcatel's premises in Stuttgart, Germany. Estimating more than 200 million VoIP subscribers and more than 70 million IPTV subscribers by 2010, Alcatel sees a strong market demand for a single, scalable pre-integrated end-to-end OSS solution for triple-play solutions.
- Cramer revealed that it will migrate Cramer6 OSS Suite to the SAP NetWeaver platform during 2006 and has plans to integrate with Oracle's Business Support System to automate service providers' business processes.
- Amdocs and Cramer have agreed to create a single OSS platform to support the rapid launch of new, next-generation services.
- BellSouth has signed a multi-year contract with Cramer to transform the carrier's legacy systems to IP.
- Denmark's TDC has completed the first phase of a multi-stage deployment. Cramer will further replace the Pan-Scandinavian Nordic Net's existing legacy systems and automate inventory management and fulfillment associated with its access and transmission networks to be used by more than 3,000 TDC users.
