Nothing says "value" or "mainstream" quite like "Wal-Mart," and 100-plus Canadian outposts of the retail juggernaut are now offering Vonage service. The Wal-Marts join 1,300 other Canadian stores where consumers can buy start-up kits. Vonage is also announcing the expansion of its network coverage in Quebec and Ontario. We don't know if this will be able to hold off cable VoIP carriers, but it surely can't hurt.
