Does an estimate of $15 billion in enterprise spending on wireless VoIP in five years make sense to you? That's what Juniper Research is predicting--that $2 billion in 2007 sales will grow to $15 billion in 2012, with switches/mobility controllers accounting for $8 billion of that. The big winner is expected to be Cisco, followed by Aruba, Trapeze, Proxim and Meru. For handsets, Juniper says Spectralink (whose sale to Polycom closed this week [1], by the way) is the company to beat.
