We've seen the VoIP possibilities of Apple's iPhone [1], but legitimate users aren't the only group to see potential in the device. Hacker's are now racing to crack the iPhone's code, both to add applications and features to the thin touch-screen phone, and to worm their way inside to take advantage of user information flowing through the device.
Arbor Networks, in a forward-looking analysis, warned users to be careful of downloads and to be prepared for future security issues. For its part, Apple has warned users from the days of the first unlocking hacks that both good guys and bad guys could use the same techniques.
