On Monday, Zeacom debuted its ROI Calculator to assist its (more than 100) VARs and channel partners selling its hosted solution, along with others considering buying its hosted contact center and UC offerings. It is also taking the time to tout its solid business performance in the current economy.
The ROI calculator is designed to provide a "confidence factor" to buyers, said Zeacom President Ernie Wallerstein. "ROI is critical, people are doing it for the contact center, but not for other things like presence and mobility, quick-access conferencing, we haven't seen people quantify that."
Zeacom's ROI calculator quantifies reduction in operating expenses, as well as increases in revenue, customer service and organizational productivity through integrated communications via Zeacom's various service offerings.
Regardless of the numbers that come up on the calculator, Zeacom is continuing to grow, with 10 percent growth globally and 15 percent growth in the U.S. "We're still paying 401(k) matches and bonuses," said Wallerstein. "Not many people can say that." The company continues to add head count and was "double digit" EBITDA positive last year; it had between $20 million and $25 million in revenues.
