For all the talk about VoIP's successes, there are now only about five or six carriers in the million-customer class. Welcome another: Comcast, the nation's biggest cableco. Customers are being drawn in by cheap triple-play bundles for $99/month. (A side note: if only 25 percent of the customers buy the triple play, that's revenue of $25,000,000 per month.) Analyst projections suggest that Comcast is signing people up in the neighborhood of 425,000 per quarter, which is a nice neighborhood indeed.
