E2Open (Nasdaq: EOPN)
E2Open announced revenue (excluding nonrecurring items) of $18.4 million, up 19 percent from $15.5 million in the prior quarter, and 11 percent from $16.6 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2012. GAAP net income was $4.6 million, compared to a net loss of $2.4 million in the prior quarter and a net income of $2.2 million in the second quarter a year ago.

Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR)
Juniper Networks reported GAAP net income for the third quarter of $16.8 million, or 3 cents per share, down from $83.7 million, or 16 cents per share, compared to the year earlier results. Net income includes a 16 cents per share restructuring charge. Revenue rose 1 percent to $1.12 billion compared with the year ago quarter.

Polycom (Nasdaq: PLCM)
Polycom announced a GAAP net loss from continuing operations of $15 million, or 8 cents per share, compared with a net income of $20 million, or 11 cents per share, in the same quarter last year. Excluding stock-based compensation, restructuring costs and other items, the company posted a non-GAAP net income of $17 million, or 10 cents per share, for the third quarter. Revenue was down 6 percent to $335 million compared to the same quarter last year.

VMware reported a GAAP net income of $157 million, or 36 cents per share, compared with $178 million, or 41 cents per share, for the third quarter of 2011. Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ)

HP reported a GAAP net loss of $6.9 billion, or $3.49 per share, for the fourth quarter of the firm's fiscal year 2012, compared with a GAAP net income of $200 million, or 12 cents per share, for the same quarter last year. HP blamed the huge net loss on a non-cash impairment charge of $8.8 billion related to its acquisition of Autonomy. The firm reported net revenue of $30 billion for the quarter, down 7 percent from the same quarter in the last fiscal year.
