8x8 is now offering Polycom SoundPoint IP and SoundStation phones

Interoperability is the name of the game in the VoIP services market. When you've got it, your customers get more cohoices. 8x8 passed some tests and is now offering Polycom's SoundPoint IP desktop and SoundStation IP confererence phones.

The company received interoperability certification from Polycom after tests were run and evaluated showing that integration and end-user deployment of Polycom VoIP phones with 8x8 hosted VoIP solutions were successful.

8x8 customers can now add SoundPoint IP 335,550 and 670 desk phones and SoundStation IP 6000 conferencing phones to their list of choices to outfit their offices. They can take advantage of a number of features offered by the Polycom phones including auto attendant, voice mail, Caller ID, call forwarding, conference bridge and Polycom HD Voice.
