Acme Packet launches federal-targeted program for partners

Acme Packet, a session border control (SBC) vendor, announced a new federal specialization for its Pinnacle Partner program for systems integrators, resellers and service providers serving the government market.

The new federal specialization is designed to help resellers targeting federal agencies. The program not only fosters technical and business collaboration and provides partner education and sales tools, but is also aimed at promoting interoperability among products in the partnership. Members of the program get access to SBC products, technical support, online training and joint marketing opportunities.

Acme Packet noted that Pinnacle Partner program government specialization charter members include Government Solutions, Black Box Network Services, General Dynamics, Lyme Computer Systems and Technica Corporation. 

It makes sense that Acme Packet would have such a program since their SBCs are the first and only SBCs certified by the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Interoperability Test Command for information assurance and interoperability with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
