Alteva brings Local Anywhere to hosted VoIP

VoIP offers companies the ability to personalize their customer communications. Local numbers that can ring in far off places is just one way, but Alteva is taking the service a step further with its Local Anywhere service for hosted VoIP offering.

Companies using Local Anywhere and Alteva's hosted unified communications can assign multiple DIDs to one VoIP deskphone. One company employee can receive calls from numerous custom numbers meaning companies can set up specific numbers for various services and the inbound call to the service desk will give the employee necessary information to personalize the response to the call.

Outbound calls from the same appropriate numbers will also be more personal and make it less likely for calls to be ignored. The service can also be used by smaller companies that would like to look larger--setting up regional branch numbers where branches don't really exist.

The service is already being deployed by a concierge company that wanted personal phone lines for each of its clients. When the concierge picks up the phone they already know who is calling and how to respond.
