AltiGen finds UC market booming for Credit Unions
If you are like me, you probably think most businesses could benefit from adding a little unified communications (UC) to their lives. In its quest to find more sectors to deploy its UC offerings, AltiGen has found an interesting target market: credit unions.
The company has just signed up another credit union, Wildfire Credit Union in Michigan, for its AltiGen Call Center Suite. The credit union found that as they expanded they really needed a scalable solution for their call centers. The new all-software call center system means new branches will get access to the VoIP calling and call center tools like call recording, detailed agent reporting and supervision quickly. The new solution will eliminate the need for Wildfire call center managers to constantly manage daily operations via multiple servers and management consoles.
Wildfire does 49 percent of its business on the phone and thus the call center business is important to them and AltiGen has realized this need expands to other similar businesses. "AltiGen's software based solution is a great fit for financial institutions that want to increase the services they provide," said AltiGen Vice President of Sales, Mike Plumer in a release. "Our product has been deployed in more than 300 credit unions to date, which has allowed us to fine tune the product to the needs of a credit union or bank."
