Arizona VoIP provider sues Apple over iCloud name
VoIP provider iCloud... wait a minute. Exactly. A Phoenix VoIP provider, iCloud Communications, is suing Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), which last week rolled out a new cloud offering called iCloud, for copying its name and creating confusion over the two products. It wants Apple to immediately stop using the iCloud moniker for its data service and also, obviously, is seeking cash for damages; iCloud Communications serves the small and medium-sized business market, and has been in the telecom industry since 1982.
