AudioCodes solution speeds VoIP over WiMAX

As WiMAX proliferates around the globe, WiMAX operators are looking to add voice to their services portfolios, according to AudioCodes, which has released its VoIPerfect solution for WiMAX in response to that demand. The solution is for CPE applications that are adapted for the Intel WiMAX Connection 2250 (Rosedale 2) chipset. The wonderfully named VoIPerfect includes a toolkit containing a hardware reference design for a VoIP analog telephone adapter and a Linux-based SIP VoIP application that has been fully integrated and tested with the chipset.
