Boxtone updates enterprise mobility management
BoxTone has release new software to address the "bring your own device" phenomenon and help IT professionals managed mobile devices in the enterprise.
The Boxtone 7.0 platform is designed to automats hundreds of role-based workflows encompassing mobile device management, mobile app management and support management.
"The exponential growth of BYOD has been driving a greater need for companies to employ scalable, automated [enterprise mobility management] solutions that not only address mobile device management, but also encompass mobile support, operations and apps," Alan Snyder, CEO of BoxTone, said in a statement.
"The mobility management challenge becomes even more intense as customers move into the next phase of mobility to deploy business-critical apps that are directly tied to revenues and sensitive data."
