BT upgrades wholesale VoIP offerings with reseller portal

As new features and needs emerge, companies go back and renew their services for re-release. BT has recalibrated its wholesale VoIP offering to meet the needs of the ever expanding VoIP market.

BT is re-launching its wholesale VoIP offering. The platform has had its SIP core and gateways renewed for scalability and reliability and the company is adding new features for the reseller community. BT will offer the option to connect via direct line access using BT's Ethernet service as well as provide a new automated web-based number porting system. The number porting system, called the European Reseller System portal, will allow resellers to migrate greater numbers of users to a VoIP system than before.The new access line provides dynamic bandwidth management, which will further increase the scalability of wholesale VoIP solutions.

The upgrade has hit The Netherlands and Germany, while BT also serves wholesale VoIP to Spain, Hungary and the Czech Republic as well.
