Cablevision Optimum expands SIP trunking

Tools

Cablevision Systems' Optimum business service provider unit has expanded its Voice SIP Trunking capability to the small and medium-sized business market through a partnership with Avaya. The offering has been integrated with Avaya IP Office 6.0, and it allows small businesses to maintain an IP PBX without the costs associated with T-1s or analog gateways.

This integration is another push in that direction and a response to some of the cost hurdles some businesses may face.
