Carrier group promotes VoIP standards

An international consortium of converged media carriers and manufacturers are now officially working with global telecom regulators. The IPSphere Forum has established a liaison with the International Telecommunications Union as part of an effort to create workable global standards for VoIP and IPTV. In addition, the group just concluded a demonstration of its SOA-based technical platform for next-generation video.
