CHATdate offers VoIP-based video introductions
Anybody who's ever used an online dating service knows that people often use photos that were taken of them about a decade ago, and sometimes photos of someone else, to represent themselves to potential suitors. Those days are numbered in New Zealand where CHATdate is among the first of the country's online dating services to use a next-gen VoIP platform to support a video chat service for subscribers. The service makes online matchmaking a more safe and "personable experience," according to CHATdate's director Chris Cadag. No doubt a more honest one, too.
