CommuniGate announces VoicePlus HD for small offices

CommuniGate Systems, a Unified Communications (UC) solutions provider, announced the release of VoicePlus--a High Definition IP telephony solution made for the small office.

Aimed at small businesses that do not have a large IT staff or budget, the solution includes CommuniGate Pronto! 3, a Flash based soft-phone and a UC client that runs in any web browser on desktops, laptops or netbooks. The software supports a wide variety of industry standard HD Voice IP desk phones, including Thomson, Polycom and Snom.

One interesting part of the announcement is that the solution is compatible with Apple computers and a Mac Mini running VoicePlus can be leveraged by an enterprise with more than a 1,000 users by adding a few inexpensive external Network-Attached Storage (NAS) solutions.
