CRM and VoIP living and working together
One of the great benefits touted for VoIP is the ability to tie telephony into enterprise applications. Few enterprise apps have as much promise as enterprise CRM for an integrating platform.
CRM on demand, with the economies and management benefits of the application as a service rather than a self-hosted software bundle, is one beneficiary of the VoIP link. Even with this promise, companies must still exercise caution and plan carefully to avoid pitfalls like reduced voice quality when making the switch-over to the IP-based system.
