Dialogic more than doubles session capicity with new gateway

Dialogic has launched its next generation Dialogic BorderNet 2020 Integrated Multimedia Gateway. With 2.6 times the amount of session capacity of its past release, the device is being targeted at companies wishing to build out VoIP infrastructure as well as service providers and mobile virtual network operators (MVNO).

BorderNet 2020 IMG can help network make call rates ranging from 36 to 52 calls per second when connecting mobile or fixed line subscribers to mobile VAS and cloud-based services. The device is an any-to-any gateway and can convert traffic from both TDM-to-IP and IP-to-IP, making it easier for companies looking to migrate from their legacy system to new technology.

The BorderNet 2020 IMG also feature security offerings through its integration of leading media gateway and session border controller functions like secure SIP session control and mediation, media transcoding, traffic management and topology hiding.
