Enterprise Connect: XO launches UC in the cloud

Enterprise Connect is underway and companies are unveiling some interesting new products. XO (OTC BB: XOHO.OB) has launched into the clouds with XO Enterprise Cloud Communications an enterprise-grade IP communications service aim at accelerating the deployment of IP and unified communications (UC), while simplifying the management of communications systems.

XO Enterprise Cloud Communications offers a range of IP telephony features including local and long distance calling, enterprise-wide HD voice and video, network services, and IP phone sets. The whole system is deployed in the cloud so that companies of all sizes can use it. While 'cloud' is jockeying to replace the term 'hosted,' the goals are the same: limit the initial CAPEX of a deployment and make upgrades and IT management easier (non-existent on the client-side!).
