Fonality adds 200+ tech firms to UC client roster in Q1 2011
Business communications specialist Fonality said it has signed deals with more than 200 tech firms in the first quarter of 2011 that will leverage its cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) services.
Companies increasingly have turned to the cloud to manage costs, and Unified Communications has been a major benefactor. UC implementation rates doubled from 2010 to 2011, and, according to a report from CDW, 76 percent of organizations that have fully implemented UC track returns on investments and a ROI that has met or exceeded their expectations--up 5 percent since 2010.
Fonality said it is changing how a growing list of technology firms communicate, and its services, based on open standards, are simple to manage and affordable to deploy.
"Technology firms represent the very foundation of forward-thinking and innovation," said Fonality's CTO Rick Bushell. "They are constantly in pursuit of the latest solutions that will improve business practices, as evidenced by the adoption we've seen in 2011. Fonality is focused on reshaping how these companies collaborate and communicate though cloud-based VoIP and UC solutions."
