Global Crossing to offer Teliris telepresence

As our IP networks get more advanced, one of the most exciting areas of IP comm is telepresence. Network provider Global Crossing (Nasdaq: GLBC) knows all about the exciting possibilities the technology has to offer its customers so it is teaming with equipment manufacturer Teliris to add to its telepresence offerings.

According to Frank Piotrowski, senior product manager for Global Crossing, the deal is an extension of the two companies' working relationship. Teliris was one of the first companies to offer telepresence for the enterprise and they've consistently used Global Crossing for their backbone transport provider. Global Crossing sales team are now train on the Teliris equipment and are prepared to offer the solutions to customers with support from Teliris as needed.
