Grandstream releases new sub-$100 SIP phone
At the end of the day, VoIP boils down to the phone on your office desk. Grandstream is looking to make VoIP deployments a little more wallet-friendly with a new sub-$100 VoIP phone.
The GXP1450 is an entry-level enterprise desktop SIP telephone. It is a 2-line (with 2 SIP accounts) phone with HD audio, an LCD XML customization, automated provisioning, integrated personal Web productivity applications like a weather app, and advanced security protection. The phone has 180x60 backlit graphical display with 4-level grayscale, 3 XML soft keys you can program, network ports and 3-way conferencing. In addition to the HD audio, the phone sports a full duplex hands-free speakerphone, 2000-item phone book and call history records. The device's security is based on TLS/SRTP/HTTPS/AES.
