GrooVe IP creates mobile-minute bypass for Google Voice
Being able to use Google Voice on a smartphone just isn't enough for some people, and we are likely to see a number of new applications aiming to make it easier and even more beneficial to use the app.

One of the latest is the new Andrid app, GrooVe IP, which lets Android smartphone owners use Google Voice over Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G networks without using minutes from their mobile carrier.
This app is $3.99 at the Android Market, which is a small price to pay for the minutes you could save. Mobile carriers probably are not going to be happy about this app.
They would like to give you the ability to use features like Google Voice, but on their terms, attaching strings like Sprint's landline calling fee for using Google Voice.
