Tools

IntelePeer Inc., a cloud-based communications company, announced that it has joined the Cisco Developer Network as a Registered Developer for unified communications. Joining the developer network means Intelepeer can work with Cisco on meeting the needs of customers the companies share and offer complimentary services and technologies.

Cisco's Developer Network offers access to Cisco technologies and support resources to encourage third-party development of business solutions for data, voice, video, and mobile communications on Cisco platforms.

On a related note, IntelePeer completed interoperability tests between the Cisco Unified Border Element and IntelePeer's Cloud Communications Services. The tests included IntelePeer Specialized SIP Trunking for Cisco Unified Communications and IntelePeer's Hosted Intercompany Media Engine (IME) services. With the new developer network registration and the interoperability certifications, IntelePeer is ready to work with the Cisco customer base.
