Is Digium growing up?

There's a lot of activity at Digium, and you should expect see more. The company--home of the popular open-source PBX Asterisk--has been hiring senior executives with serious pedigrees. Danny Windham has come over from Adtran as president, and founder Mark Spencer is now chairman and CTO. Bill Miller, a seasoned vet of companies including 3Com, is now director of marketing. They're looking for an engineering VP. Why does an open-source company need that kind of horsepower? Because they're out to prove that the expression "open-source business" is not an oxymoron. Digium was a 2006 Fierce 15 winner.
