Laying Down a Marker for the 2008 Fierce15 VoIP

Many people have asked about when a Fierce 15 for VoIP may appear this year and what the criteria would be for consideration. Here's what I've decided: The 2008 Fierce 15 will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 30. Nominations for the 2008 Fierce 15 will be accepted from now until Friday, Oct. 10.

Qualifications

           Must be a privately-held company
           Must have at least one shipping product
           Must have revenues, and be willing to discuss revenues

Submission information

Privately-held companies being submitted for consideration to the 2008 Fierce 15 should provide the following information:

           Company name
           Years of operation

           Name(s) of-
                     CEO
                     CTO or chief developer
                     VP or other designed marketing representative

           Products currently shipping
           Number of products that have been shipped
           Financial results for last fiscal year, preferably for last reported quarter
           Significant customers
           At least one or two customer references
           Any other factors which should be considered
           Contact name, e-mail, and phone number of person submitting company for consideration
