Lightyear rolls out new hosted VoIP product

Tools

Competitive residential and business service provider Lightyear Network Solutions (OTCBB:LYNS) is expanding its network services portfolio by launching a new hosted VoIP product.

The company, which recently underwent a change in leadership as founder Sherman Henderson stepped down, said it will roll out a cloud-based voice services offering that allows SMBs to move into a business-grade VoIP, including integration from customers' traditional PBX, Key or other existing telephone system.

"We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Hosted VoIP product, which further enhances our extensive product portfolio," said Stephen M. Lochmueller, who moved into the CEO post in May. "Hosted VoIP is in line with our strategic plan to offer cost-efficient and cutting-edge products, and it makes ‘the cloud' an affordable and valuable resource for consumers in the SMB space."

Lightyear says its hosted VoIP features lower system costs, an enhanced feature set, flexibility and scalability, easy installation, the reliability of a carrier-class network and the ability to utilize fixed mobile convergence.

Lightyear Network Solutions provides telecommunication services to large, medium and small businesses and to residential consumers throughout North America.
