M5 debuts call-recoding software for SMBs
LAS VEGAS--M5 Networks, which in April acquired call center software company Callfinity, has debuted a new service, M5 Replay, that gives SMBs the ability to record and retrieve recorded phone calls via a Web interface.
The company, a stalwart in the hosted and managed VoIP space with mid-sized businesses, said Reply is managed offsite, and requires no on-premise hardware, relying on the cloud instead. M5 said the technology gives business clients a low-cost, scalable and on-site solution for their call-recording needs.
The product's basic features-- which include search for calls by caller name, phone number, time of call, date, or call duration-all are accessible through its Web interface.
"The ability to record and playback calls is critical to any organization with a sales or client service focus," said Dan Hoffman, CEO of M5 Networks. "There is simply no better way to enhance training, ensure compliance, and identify telephone best practices." M5 Replay is available in three modes, including full-time recording, employee initiated recording, and look back recording.
