M5 Networks debuts new iteration of Connect for Salesforce.com
Unified communications and hosted, managed VoIP provider M5 Networks has released a new version of its M5 Connect for Salesforce. The latest iteration, version 4.0, is all about browsers, with support for the Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Chrome browser as well support for the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox.
The product helps users unify the data in Salesforce with intelligence from the phone system. M5 said the solution also:
Enables users to start a call from within Salesforce.com anytime a phone number is available;
- Displays lead or contact information before the call is answered;
- Prompts users for call notes and wrap up codes each time the phone is dialed; and,
- Allows managers and supervisors to measure representative and campaign success with real-time analytics.
"Even in this digital age, the telephone system is still the primary tool for bringing sellers and buyers together," said Brent Barbara, VP of iInnovation and integration for M5 Networks. "People rely on Salesforce.com because it gets results and puts the focus where it belongs, on sales and service, not administration. We share this philosophy."
M5 also has prepackaged Connect offerings for other popular CRM and Applicant Tracking systems and also offer an API for integration with niche packaged applications or home grown systems.
