MegaNet rolls out expanded VoIP service for home, business
Fall River, Mass. Internet provider MegaNet Communications has expanded its Voice Over IP services to cover any size customer, in both residential and business markets nationwide, promoting cost savings over traditional calling services and its Virtual PBX service that gives businesses features usually associated with hardware phone systems.
"We've seen a huge upswing in customers using their high-speed Internet connections to expand their phone services while drastically reducing their monthly costs," said James Smith, MegaNet Communications' marketing VP. "Businesses are taking advantage of the extremely low pricing and free nationwide calling VoIP can offer, while maintaining excellent call quality and offering many more options not usually included with traditional phone service."
MegaNet's Virtual PBX service provides auto attendants, voicE:, automatic call forwarding, and interactive voice menus as part of the monthly service; traditionally businesses needed to purchase a costly hardware system to use these features.
The ISP has been providing managed Internet services in the Northeast since 1996. In addition to access options such as DSL, T1, wireless, and fiber, MegaNet also offers a wide array of services including managed servers, VoIP, shared and dedicated server hosting and colocation, corporate Email, and managed security for corporate networks.
