Messaging match: One Call Now buys Vontoo

One Call Now, a provider of automated broadcast message notification services, has moved to acquire Vontoo, a provider of Web-based voice messaging services.

Vontoo allows users to set up permission-based voice message distribution lists via their Internet browsers, send message and monitor responses; the Indianapolis company also has integrated interactive video into its solutions, but in the last few years has been through restructuring and related financial difficulties.

One Call Now, based in Troy, Ohio, has made several acquisitions in recent years and has been cited by INC Magazine has one of America's fastest growing telecom companies.
