Microsoft blankets retail with VoIP hardware
OK, carriers. Here comes Microsoft. As part of its Vista operating system rollout (you did know there was a new version of Windows coming, right?), Microsoft is buying endcap positions in 1,200 Best Buys, Circuit Cities and CompUSAs to sell a VoIP hardware package. All you'll have to do is plug it into your Vista-equipped PC and Windows Live Messenger will be ready to chat away. Carrier? What carrier?
