Microsoft CEO speaks out about VoIP
It's no secret that Microsoft is getting into the VoIP business, but statements this week from combative CEO Steve Ballmer have a somewhat different tone than what we've heard previously. We know about its communications server and its deal with Nortel. But Ballmer apparently was talking about deploying VoIP across its entire product line--and the timing seems to be consistent with the expected shipment of the next-generation Vista operating system.
