Momentum Telecom and Level 3 to provide VoIP ELS

Momentum Telecom, a provider of residential and business digital voice solutions, will be using Level 3 communications to provide VoIP enhanced local services (ELS).

Momentum will put the majority of its local voice traffic onto Level 3's fiber-based network streamlining its business and allowing companies operating their own Class 5 switches to provide IP-based local and long-distance communication. The deal will allow Momentum to provide IP-commications on a local level and provide a less costly VoIP primary-line replacement service.
