MySkypeOffice adds big UC features to Skype-based offices

Everybody is targeting the small- and medium-sized businesses. What was once a place for small companies and entrepreneurs to serve is quickly being invaded by the big guys, but that doesn't mean scrappy start-ups can't offer innovative products to corner the market.

Start-up MySkypeOffice is currently in beta-testing by an invite only a service that works a lot like a bigger unified communications offering or Google Voice. MySkypeOffice provides a number of inbound-call management tools for businesses that use Skype as their main phone service. The solution goes after the Google Voice features like screening voicemails as they come in as well as the text-to-voicemail feature. MySkypeOffice provides businesses with other key features like auto-attendant, call routing and follow features that you might see in a bigger UC offering.
