Nettalk Duo continues e-tail roll out, now on Dell.com
NetTALK.com (OTCBB:NTLK) is continuing to have success marketing its DUO VoIP device and digital phone service, landing on the shelves at e-tailer dell.com. Earlier this month, the DUO debuted on e-tail giant newegg.com and in January hit the shelves on Walmart.com.
The Miami-based CLEC said it sees the Dell.com deal as hopefully being just the first stage of a long and mutually-beneficial relationship between the two companies.
"Not only is Dell.com one of the largest internet retailers, it is also one of the best channels for the netTALK DUO," said Anastasios Kyriakides, president of netTALK. "Dell.com reaches an informed customer who seeks value, a perfect match for the incredible value, call clarity and unmatched customer service of the netTALK DUO."
NetTalk said the DUO, which enables free nationwide calls to any phone in the U.S. and Canada from anywhere in the world, currently ranks as the No. 1 seller in Amazon.com's telephone category, and is the No. 4 Home Office product on Walmart.com.The netTALK DUO plugs directly into a router, modem or computer.
The device costs $69.95 and includes a year of free service, after which it costs $29.95 annually.
NetTALK in January rolled out a free smartphone app that allows users to make free calls to the U.S. and Canada, via 3G, Wi-Fi, or EDGE networks, without using monthly cell phone minutes. It quickly became the No. 1 downloaded iTunes App in Canada, outdistancing Skype and Facebook, and works with iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
The company also last month obtained additional funding up to $2.5 million in borrowings pursuant to a promissory note agreement.
