New Global Telecom to offer Cisco IP phones for SMBs

Wholesale and trunk-based VoIP provider New Global Telecom (NGT) announced that it has certified Cisco Systems' SPA500 series of IP phones for use in conjunction with NGT's suite of fully managed VoIP services. NGT provides turnkey hosted and trunk-based VoIP as well as unified communications solutions to cable operators and VARs.

The Cisco SPA500 phones feature duplex speakerphone, enhanced speech technology such as HD voice and are Cisco XML enabled for integration with applications to the device. In addition to announcing the certification, NGT and Cisco also noted that they will be partnering to market SMB VoIP services and equipment to partners and end user businesses.
