Next NGN Plugfest to focus on managed services, Diameter

The NGN IMS Forum has announced its upcoming Plugfest. The June event in New Hampshire will focus on testing all types of interfaces used in IMS, NGN, LTE and WiMAX using Diameter.

Held at the University of New Hampshire's InterOperability Lab, this year's plugfest will dive into the needs of protocol stack vendors and users, equipment vendors using Diameter in functions such as call session control, mobility, subscriber authentication, charging, policy management and security. Expanding further into service delivery and control and management, including billing, protocols and standards, the event will build upon the work of the IMS Plugfest series started two years ago.
