Polycom names new CEO

Polycom, a telepresence, video and voice communications solutions provider, has named Andrew Miller president and CEO of the company.

Miller joined Polycom in 2009 as executive VP of Global Field Operations. Prior to coming to Polycom, Miller's 28-year career in the video and networking industries saw him at Cisco for 11 years in leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, and Services. He also isn't new to the role of CEO with 'CEO of Tandberg' shining on his resume, he's probably ready to hit the ground running.

Former CEO, Robert Hagerty will step down as CEO, president, and chairman and will resign from the Board. He will remain as an advisor to Miller and the Board.
