Polycom's new execs continue to refocus business

UC specialist Polycom (Nasdaq: PLCM) has been busily remaking its executive line up, naming Dan Sibille--LifeSize Communication's former director of North America's channels-- as its new VP of North America channels. He is just the latest of several execs Polycom has grabbed from competitors, including his new boss, David Ruggiero, who recently joined Polycom as theater president of North America. Polycom is gearing up its efforts to compete with Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) in the video space.
