ReadyTalk after government contracts; offers 30 days free for Telework Week
Government has been one of those vertical segments that the economy hasn't quite gotten to yet--despite all the latest talk of budget cuts. Luckily for IP communications companies, our services will offer ways to save. Telecommuting is an obvious way to increase efficiency and lower costs and ReadyTalk is both expanding its government presence and promoting telework this week.
The company is taking advantage of the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 which is pushing government agencies to promote teleconferencing solutions. ReadyTalk has been added to the GSA contract schedule and is pushing its suite of conferencing products designed for government agencies. Its Web Meeting has been built with security in mind but can handle collaborative working meetings between colleagues as well as large-scale agency-wide training events. In addition, ReadyTalk's integrated audio conferencing makes it easy for participants from across the country and across the world to participate in the meetings.
Apparently this week is also Telework Week, so feel free to call in from home! ReadyTalk is helping people get into the spirit by offering 30 days of free conferencing services. I suppose some government agencies might take advantage of the deal to get the ball rolling on balancing that budget.
