Report: 2011 to see IT spending increases benefiting VoIP markets
Look, more signs of the economic turn-around! According to a new report, 2011 could see some increase VoIP services spending as business IT budgets increase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
According to Gartner, enterprise technology expenditures in 2010 were down 2.1 percent--$784.8 billion--compared to the previous 12 months. Apperently spending in those regions have experienced two years of decline.
Luckily, the good news is that in 2011 spending is expected to rise by 1.3 percent. That positive growth will likely be funneled into some VoIP company pockets as business look to IP communications spending as a way to cut costs on communications.
