Report: VoIP subscribers to grow in 2010
Dell'Oro has more positive predictions for the VoIP market in 2010. If all goes according to plan the VoIP market should stabilize in 2010 after two years of trouble in a depressed economy.
Dell'Oro expects that if the housing market starts to grow again and service providers continue to offer agressively price VoIP bundles, the VoIP market should do better this year. They believe that VoIP subscriber numbers will grow, but the equipement market may shrink a little due to declining prices. Network modernization projects should unfreeze as the economy improves which will also boost the market.
