Siemens OpenScape Office will offer three versions to fit SMB needs
Bringing enterprise-level unified communications (UC) services to every business has been a challene a number of UC providers have been working on and it looks like Siemens will be making their offerings a reality for some companies looking to increase their IP communications game.
Siemens will be unveiling its Openscape Office V3 on Tuesday aiming it new product at small businesses looking for an enterprise-level UC experience. The new release seeks to help SMBs with workers in multiple locations to take advantage of UC capabilities like voice and conferencing services, presence, IM, messaging, fax, mobility, social networking and multi-channel contact center capabilities.
The new offering will be provided in three different levels depending on the size and needs of the customer. The OpenScap Office MX is similar to what current OpenScape Office customers user, but will be enhanced for multi-site deployments. The MX version is an all-in-one appliance supporting up to 150 seats. OpenScape Office HX will offer UC for hybrid environments with TDM, analog and IP support with up to 500 users. OpenScape Office LX will be software-based and will support up to 500 users as well.
