Sipera Systems solution gets Avaya compliance thumbs-up

Unified communications (UC) offers some really neat features and while security is often one of them, it never hurts to have a little more. That's when a company might turn to Sipera Systems. Luckily they work hard to get their security appliances compliant with the latest UC releases.

Sipera has announced that its UC-Sec security appliance is compliant with the Avaya Aura Communication Manager and Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.0, a solution from Avaya. The UC-Sec appliance works as a Secure Access Proxy node in a UC system providing comprehensive security for all internal and external UC end-points. By simplifiying the access-side network, Sipera claims the UC-Sec can reduce security costs for Avaya Aura users.
