Skype contemplates security certificates

Speaking of Skype, the VoIP leader is trying out ways to enhance security so enterprise customers will like it better. Although Skype already uses username security for logging in and secures calls themselves with PKI, the company is apparently thinking about using certificates to authenticate users. The efficient use of certificates and rings of trust would also allow businesses--a key and growing market for Skype--to more easily manage calling groups.
