SPOTLIGHT: Consolidation in Poland
At least one player in the Poland VoIP scene expects the domestic market to consolidate through buyouts and that additional services will emerge. FreecoNet believes the trend is inevitable based on what is already happening outside of the country, with smaller VoIP operators being snapped up by bigger ones.
Future growth lies in the implementation of FMC and the integration of VoIP and GSM. With the appearance of "free" calling within a network, creating and selling value-added services is the only way to regain lost revenues.
